iiVaults — UPDATE… 10 01 22
As promised a brief update on the progress of iiVaults.
As you know we launched our iiQueue system, on time, to allow people to queue for access to the iiVault BETA/testing platform.
The iiQueue system itself worked perfectly, and helped us to effectively shortlist a number of people (Long-term and current TORII holders) who were eligible to assist us in testing the first iiVault contract / strategy.
BECAUSE iiVAULTS ARE EXPERIMENTAL — As designed, the iiQueue allowed us to slowly provide access while we test for bugs, assessed interaction and not overload our team with feedback through the trial phase.
iiQueue Criteria —FYI.
1️⃣ Anyone who still held 0.1+ TORII from 6 months ago
2️⃣ Anyone who still held 0.1+ TORII from 3 months ago
3️⃣ then anyone who held TORII 3–6 months ago, and bought back between then and launched of iiQueue (people who continued to follow progress)
4️⃣ then, anyone who hold 1+ TORII now
(of course taking staking into account as well; TORII has switched from HOLDERSHIP to OWNERSHIP, were ownership of TORII even in third-party contracts will be taken into account for future mechanisms / contracts)
UPDATE: Monday 10 January 2022
- On opening of access we identified a small bug in the contract which delayed the bUSD (testnet token) from converting to the ‘strategy’ token (testnet tUSD), causing a considerable increasing in gas for every 3rd or 4th transaction.
- For this reason we capped the initial opening at 100 people while we identify and redeploy the contract with a gas-optimized conversion, to avoid any mainnet complications due to overloading or over-priced transactions.
This was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, our goal is to maximize earnings, and optimize your ability to use Torii Finance’s technology without loss of value (even if that value is only “gas”).
So far the testing is going very well, and you will all have the opportunity to be testing and interacting with iiVaults as soon as the engineers provide the new deployment.
